Brush or wipe any residue. Spray with a mild cleaning solution and gently wipe the fabric clean. Rinse with water and allow the fabric to fully air dry wash in cold water and air dry.

I purchased this to try and bring a comfortable spot for my dog to lay on when we are out since I live in a very rainy city. They occasionally have a few nice patios that are dog friendly and wanted to work on have a place for my dog to relax while we are there. I've just tested it at home to get my dog used to it and so far, it has been amazing! I pulled it out of the packing, laid it out (next to her dog bed), and she chose to lay on the travel mat instead. She knew EXACTLY what it was for!
She has also decided to dig at it which has left some scratch marks. Although, it seems to be holding up really well! Nothing more than very light cosmetic marking with her digging at it. Would highly recommend and can't wait to bring it out everywhere once the weather warms up!
I live in a city where it hardly ever rains. On the one hand, I appreciate the consistent weather. On the other, I’m so grossed out by all the dirt and grime that hardly ever gets washed away. I’ve bought a couple of the original travel mats and while they’re great on their own, I jumped to the cart when I saw there are now waterproof travel mats. These are a game-changer and so much easier to clean! Compared to the original, it’s more durable. I’ve had mine for a couple weeks now and despite numerous outings in various locations, it still looks new! I even went out to dinner and like a klutz, spilled my drink. The mat just needed a few swipes from my napkin. My dog, however, needed a bath and a treat.
